Adam Owcarz, Avionics Manager/Chief Inspector, was introduced to the Aviation Industry when he joined the Marine Corps in 2005. He was trained on Avionics and Electrical Systems on military aircraft. During his five years in the Marine Corps he specialized as a Communication/Navigation Technician on the KC-130 F/R/T model aircrafts until he was Honorably discharged in Jan 2010. During his time in the Marine Corps he also attended college and received a B.S. in Information Technology. In March 2010, Adam started his new career as an Avionics Technician at Textron Aviation Service Center.
Adam received hands on experience troubleshooting and maintaining avionics/mechanical systems on Cessna Citation models 525, 500, 550, 560, 560XL, 650, 680, 750, 208, Hawker 800/900XP, and King Air BE350. After four years as a Technician Adam was promoted to Avionics Manager in 2014. For the next two years, he oversaw all Avionics matters at the service center and was responsible for 12 Avionics Technicians. Two years later, Adam was promoted to Maintenance Manager where he oversaw all maintenance at the service center. He managed eight supervisors and was responsible for 85 maintenance personnel. After over a year in the Maintenance Manager position, Adam took on the role of Quality Assurance Manager and oversaw the service centers inspection department and coordinated all matters with the FAA. While employed at Textron Aviation, Adam also cross trained as an A&P technician and received his FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.
